A Wristed Development

01/28/2026 - We are but a few short weeks into 2026 and the year has already taken a dark turn. For those of you new here, I’m a local to Minneapolis; a city that is going through some rough times at the moment. I generally hate politics. I don’t usually engage beyond being an informed voter and going out to vote. To gloss over what is going on and just write this article as if everything is fine would be entirely tone deaf and an immense injustice to what is happening in my city and to my community.

One of the beautiful outcomes of the digital world is its ability to connect and foster a community for niche interest groups. My first experience with this came, as you might guess, in the form of my watch enthusiasm. However, more recently I got curious about another community — the Everyday Carry (or more colloquially known as "EDC") community.
