Can I cancel my order?
We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this time. We hope to have a cancellation window one day in the future.
Should the item(s) not work out, make sure to request an exchange or submit a return inquiry.
Shipping Info
What is the shipping policy?
Generally, orders ship within 48 hours (2 business days) of funds clearing. The parcel will be packed carefully, and insured. If a package is lost, a refund will be issued once the insurance claim is approved and paid. Buyers are responsible for any taxes, tariffs, customs or duties due in the country of destination. Returns can be made with prior authorization from The Inchcape Collective. The buyer is solely responsible for the safe-packaging, insurance, and expedited shipping costs of the return. The buyer agrees to assume any risks in shipping.
How long will my order take to ship?
The Inchcape Collective ships Monday thru Friday and aims to fulfill orders within 48 hours (2 business days) after an order is placed, though most orders will ship in less than 48 hours. You will receive a confirmation email after your order is placed and another email when your order has shipped along with tracking information.
If we are away from HQ or are anticipating longer wait times until your order ships, we will have a notice in our announcement banner on the homepage and another notice at checkout.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. Buyers will be responsible for all import and customs duties that apply within your country.
Shipping Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If you receive your order and packaging appears to have been damaged significantly during the shipping process, and you fear that shipping damage may have resulted in damage to your order, please document the package condition prior to opening your order via photographs and/or video.
We package your orders in a manner that should protect your order and safeguard your order from from the rigors of shipping but if you suspect abnormal handling or damage to your order, please document your package's condition prior to opening and notify us immediately.
Inspection Period & Returns
At Inchcape Collective, we want every customer to be happy with their purchase, but we understand that sometimes things don't work out for one reason or another. We are happy to facilitate returns wherever possible. Given we sell both new and pre-owned/vintage products, please see the following return policies for each of these product categories:
Does TIC offer Exchanges?
We are a new, small, and growing business — so at this time, we do not offer exchanges.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
You can also place a new order before your return is accepted, though your return is still subject to our inspection for condition and your return is considered a new, separate order, that is not tied to or contingent on your original order/return.
Returns - New goods
"New Goods" are those sold through The Inchcape Collective that are brand new, not previously owned, unopened/unworn product.
For new goods products, we have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. The buyer is solely responsible for the safe-packaging, insurance, and expedited shipping costs of the return. The buyer agrees to assume any risks in shipping returns.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Inspection period & returns - Watches, pre-owned, and vintage goods
All goods that do not fall under our "New Goods" return and refund policy are considered "pre-owned." Products that fall under this "pre-owned" return policy include (but are not limited to) watches, pre-owned goods, and vintage goods. Given the pre-owned nature of these products, we have a separate policy for these goods as we need to ensure pre-owned merchandise is returned to us in the same condition as when we originally shipped it out to you. Thus, pre-owned merchandise is subject to an inspection period (defined below) where you have the opportunity to inspect the product and ensure it was delivered in an acceptable condition and was described accurately. The buyer is solely responsible for the safe-packaging, insurance, and expedited shipping costs of the return. The buyer agrees to assume any risks in shipping returns.
Inspection Period
You will have a 5-day inspection period for your purchase, beginning when the parcel is picked up or delivered to you. This inspection period encompasses your window to request a return of pre-owned/vintage merchandise. If during this inspection period you determine you wish to return your pre-owned merchandise, we ask that you contact us immediately for a refund authorization at tmat2952@gmail.com. Pre-Owned and Vintage Watch Returns
Upon return, we thoroughly inspect cases, dials, and movements. We expect watches returned to us to be in the same condition as they left our safe. We leverage thorough high resolution photographs and video taken prior to shipment and analysis of the watch movement by an experienced watchmaker to determine if the watch's condition matches the condition in which it was when it left our care. We prioritize a thorough condition review rather than speed in order to ensure that the condition is acceptable for a return and refund, thus, we do not offer a guaranteed timeline for our condition inspection review upon receiving a returned timepiece. We will do our best to provide our customers with regular updates once a pre-owned watch is received for a return. Once a pre-owned/vintage timepiece's condition is validated and determined to be acceptable for a return, a refund will be provided to the customer. If a watch's condition is deemed to not match that in which it left our care, it will be returned to the customer without a refund. The customer will be provided a detailed report of our condition analysis along with applicable photos/comments from the watchmaker that explains why the watch could not be accepted for return and refund.
These are vintage and pre-owned timepieces, and they were built to last generations with appropriate care and maintenance which becomes your responsibility after purchase. We don't recommend swimming, showering, or exposing any vintage watch to water or extreme temperature changes. Thus, we require that customers abstain from these conditions (water or extreme condition exposure outlined above) during their inspection period. If you would like to validate pressure/waterproofness prior to purchase, please send us an inquiry. If a watch is pressure/water tested prior to purchase and passes any standards for water resistance or pressure tests, it does not void our requirement to abstain from water/extreme condition exposure during the inspection period.
After your inspection period, you can choose to expose the watch to any conditions you'd like, however do so at your own risk. We do not accept returns on merchandise exposed to water or extreme conditions during the inspection period or after the inspection period. If you have questions about your timepiece and what conditions it can handle, please feel free to contact us. We will be happy to provide guidelines on this matter, however, we never guarantee a watch will stand up to specific conditions. We always recommend you have your watch tested prior to exposure to water or other extreme conditions and consult your watch's manual and/or the original manufacturer to assess what conditions are acceptable.
Pre-owned and vintage goods (not including watches)
Upon return, we thoroughly inspect the item to ensure condition is the same as when it was shipped out. We expect pre-owned and vintage goods are returned to us in the same condition as they left our care, otherwise no refund will be made after the inspection period ends.

We will do our best to provide our customers with regular updates once a pre-owned item is received for a return.
Once a pre-owned/vintage item's condition is validated and determined to be acceptable for a return, a refund will be provided to the customer. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Sourcing high quality vintage watches and goods is difficult, but it’s our passion. At The Inchcape Collective, we spend hours researching authenticity and insuring all parts are correct. If we discover something has been repaired, replaced, or refurbished we will disclose it. All watches are sold in working condition, verified by an experienced watchmaker with our guarantee that your purchase is authentic and as described or you will receive a full refund.
